Professor Ludmiła Marcinowicz (RN, MNSc, PhD hab.) works at the Department of Primary Health Care, Faculty of Health Sciences, Medical University of Bialystok. She specialises in social medicine, organisation of health care, and family nursing. Ludmiła Marcinowicz completed postgraduate studies at the Cracow School of Public Health, the Jagiellonian University, in the fields of Hospital Management/Public Health Administration (1995) and Health Promotion (1996). Her scientific accomplishments include 200 publications with a total value of IF=44.631 and a MNiSW score of 1020 points. Interested in the methodology of qualitative research, she has made it the focus of her academic work. She is the content editor of Family Medicine and Primary Care Review and a member of the Scientific Board of the Lekarz Rodzinny (Family Physician) and Pielęgniarstwo Polskie (Polish Nursing) journals.
